About Us

Started by people with decades of experience having worked in leading electrical machinery manufacturing companies is "R.V.Electricals". Started in the year 1987 by Mr. B.N.Chinnaiah, former senior winding supervisor of M/s Kirloskar Ltd, and Mr. Rajanna, late senior transformer winding supervisor of M/s Apex Electricals. Currently lead by a highly experienced specialist Mr.Ramu under the guidance and direction of Mr.Chinnaiah.

Introduction

We are Authorized Service Centre of M/s STAMFORD | AvK (Cummins), M/s. Kirloskar, M/s WEG and M/s Bharat Bhijlee Ltd . We undertake all types of Industrial Electrical and Mechanical repairs required in the industry today. Since 1983, we provide Rewinding services for Motor Generator Transformer at Bangalore of Kirloskar, NGEF, Crompton Greaves, Stamford, Elgi, AVKC manufacturers. With more than 40 years of experience in the Rewinding service at Bangalore, we are proud to say that we provide service to many of the major construction and manufacturing companies. Our core strength is our ability to analyze and diagnoise the problems relating to these electrical machinaries. We provide industrial motor, generator and alternator services across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.

Rewinding

Features

  • We rewind Motors from 10 HP to 1200 HP of all manufacturers.
  • We rewind Generators from 50 KVA to 2000 KVA.
  • Lifting facility: 5, 10, and 15 tons.
  • Coil Winding Machine: 2m length, 0.6m width.
  • No-load test facility up to 1200HP motors.
  • Generator test facility up to 750KVA.
  • Load testing up to 500KVA generators.
  • Workshop area: 6000–7000 sq. ft.

  • Dismantling and recording winding details.
  • Cleaning slots using compressed air.
  • Core damage inspection and correction.
  • Slot insulation using high-grade materials.
  • Precision coil winding using enamelled copper wire.
  • High-voltage stress testing (Flash test).
  • Resistance checks for accuracy.
  • Magnetic polarity testing.
  • Binding and high-temperature curing.
  • Final epoxy resin or varnish coating.

Factory Services

Generator Service

Electrical machinery ages over time, especially insulation materials, which lose their effectiveness and may cause breakdowns. Proper maintenance can significantly extend machine life.

Based on customer preference, we provide both on-site and factory maintenance services. Our maintenance includes:

  • Dust cleaning using compressed air
  • Thinner wash to remove chemicals
  • Heating to remove moisture and improve insulation
  • Re-binding for mechanical strength
  • Re-heating and varnishing
  • Additional mechanical work if required
